The center deals with new product design and applications development for microcontrollers, analog and memory circuits.

To be part of Microchip’s Global Technical Support Team that assists customers in minimising their design cycle times by providing expert knowledge of Microchip products and embedded control guidance. This Engineering support is provided via phone, email and fax and can be characterised as a multi-faceted role in which any issues relating to development tools and phases of customer product development are addressed.
• Provide assistance to customers on pre-sales device and tool selection
• Evaluate Customer objectives and make design recommendations
• Assist customers with hardware & software development
• Development tool operation and failure diagnosis or replacement
• Generation of collateral via application notes and technical briefs
• Review of Datasheet and application notes
• Provide customer feedback to the factory on silicon issues applications and to the software quality group for future product improvements
• Project work to facilitate the ongoing learning and awareness process to ensure knowledge levels of new products and device operation are continually updated. |
| Cerinte: |
Degree in Electronics, Automatics or Electrical Engineering.
Experience in semiconductor industry with embedded design experience in both hardware/software for 8 bit and16 bit PIC® microcontrollers and DSC’s is a plus.
Previous experience with Microchip Development Tools would be an advantage.
Familiarity with Assembly Language and C Programming.
Willingness to travel to Europe and to the US for training. Must speak English and ITALIAN.
Must have good oral and written communication skills.
Depending on experience, candidates will be eligible for Senior or Principal Applications Engineer positions.
