Internet Marketing Online (www.imarketing-online.com), working with partner companies all over the world: London, New York, Tel Aviv, is currently looking for a database administrator.
In Timisoara, you would be working with a full team of programmers and designers, under the supervision of our Senior Staff.
We are currently looking for a database administrator who will:
- provide support for development, test and live production mysql databases
- respond to end users and developers, and work with them to find appropriate resolutions
- employ existing methodologies and best practices to identify and resolve bottlenecks and recommend tuning strategies for MySQL
- all aspects of MySQL database administration from operational tasks such as backups and system monitoring to high-level user support and database configuration, and the further development of our database systems
Cerinte:
Requirements
- MySQL administration experience, preferably on Linux platform
- experience in a 24/7 high-volume high-availability environment - website experience preferred
- experience providing support to end-users
- experience in managing multiple assignments
- good english knowledge
Advantages:
- PHP/bash/perl scripting abilities
- Basic Linux administration skills
- Experience in an on-call rotation for after hours support
- Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally
- Be a team player
- French is a plus
