On behalf of our client, Ericsson, leading provider of telecommunications solutions and related services to mobile and fixed network operators globally, we are searching professionals to fill the position of EAI Senior Developer
Key Requirements
• Develop IT solutions to meet client requirements - ensure these are successfully implemented by:
• Reviewing the High Level Solution Design (HLSD) and provide input into the Detail Design.
• Provide technical leadership for Development, working collaboratively with other Developers and development teams.
• Ensure that agreed solution is successfully implemented, tested and deployed within timelines.
• Provide guidance and direction on EAI developments, unit test plans, coding standards and assist development of new software solutions.
• Develop code and execute review of code and test plans in order to achieve compliance to the processes and adherence to standards.
• Provide guidance in trouble shooting production support issues.
Responsibilities
• Act as the development lead from an EAI perspective on projects by:
- Being responsible for reviewing business requirements
- Providing input to the end to end solution design,
- Producing impact analysis
- Developing and supporting bespoke code.
• Provide technical leadership for EAI matters on projects by:
- Working collaboratively with Project Managers, Business Analysts, Development teams, Testing & Operational functions.
- Ensuring that agreed solution is successfully implemented, tested and deployed within required budgets and timescales.
• Advise Project Manager of project risks and issues, facilitating resolution or escalation as appropriate.
• Ensure, obtain and maintain the status of Subject Matter Expert in the EAI arena.
• Provide advice to the development team with regards to design and changes resulting from new and changing requirements.
• To act as a point of contact for Impact Analysis requests, verifying associated Solution Design / Change Request before working with the team to provide a suitable response.
• Provide guidance and direction on EAI designs, reviews and assist with development of new software solutions. Mentor, guide and consult on any EAI issues
• In partnership with development manager, improve development standards, procedures and working practices to ensure best continual practice in EAI implementation, with aim of increasing development throughput and reducing defect rates.

Essential Skills
• Extensive experience of performing a senior developer role in the EAI/SOA Domains
• In depth knowledge of Java/J2EE, Oracle and Unix.
• Experience of being the Senior Developer on projects throughout the complete IT lifecycle (Analysis, Architecture, Design, Build, Test & Production).
• Commercial experience in dealing with IT software vendors and outsourced development resources
• Experience of performing a solution design role in mobile telecommunications domains would be desirable.
