For one of our Customers, a major German Telecom Engineering Company we are looking for
Layer 2/3 Engineers
LTE RF Board Designer
LTE End to End Integration Engineers
Your workplace would be in southern Germany, so relocation is needed but you are also required to travel a lot around Germany, Europe and maybe the US.
Responibilities:
For the Layer 2/3 Engineers:
• Protocol software development (W-CDMA Layer 2&3) for embedded systems
• SW design and code generation with UML tool Rational RoseRT
• Programming in C for ARM and Windows host environment
• SW verification with host test application and target environment
• Using CM Tools (ClearCase) and SW build systems
For the LTE RF Board Designers
• Design and verify RF Boards for LTE terminals.
• Design and verify RX- and TX- front-end sections in combination with a given radio transceiver for LTE.
For the LTE End to End Integration Engineers
• Execute integration and test activities (IODT/IOT) in the lab and field for new LTE user terminals with different network vendors and support customer LTE trials.
• Analyze data through debug tools, compile test results and generate test reports.
• Evaluate base station and mobile station interoperability and ensures signalling/protocol conformance with 3GPP and internal specifications. |
| Cerinte: |
For all three jobs you need:
• Minimum Bachelor of Science in relevant Telecommunication/Engineering field
• Good command of English, German is NOT necessary
For the Layer 2/3 Engineers:
• Experience with L2/3 SW development for embedded systems, namely RRC, RLC and MAC
• Knowledge of UMTS / WCDMA / HSDPA / EUL or WLAN standards in the Layer 2/3.
• Programming in C/C++, Matlab and CM Tools (ClearCase)
For the LTE RF Board Designers
• RF circuits design knowledge
• UMTS/LTE know how
• Radio transceiver functions know how
• RX- and/or TX front-end circuits know how
• Mentor schematics entry
• Measurement equipment know how
• Radio block verification know how
For the LTE End to End Integration Engineers
• Knowledge of LTE / WCDMA / HSDPA / EUL standards and protocols including both physical and upper layers
• Able to test and evaluate wireless communication systems through handset and network log analysis, post processing tools and drive tests.
• Must be able to develop test procedures, execute tests and isolate issues
• Previous experience in mobile SW testing in the area of IODT and IOT |
