The position within the organization:
The Foreman works within the side organization with regard to all electrical erection work aspects on site.
Main Objectives
Ensures that contractor carries out his work according to the contract
Ensures quality of work carried out by the contractor
Ensures contractor remains within the schedule and contract cost regarding electrical erection
Checks contractor’s safety procedures regarding electrical erection and start up concentrates his actions
exclusively on site and site related activities
Duties:
Maintains relations with the contractor’s electrical erection teams so that inter-actions between owner’s
specialists and contractor’s erection teams function smoothly.
Stays informed regarding contractor’s erection activities and is responsible in assessment of electrical
erection progress on site.
Keeps himself informed on all safety aspects regarding electrical erection
Anticipates problems and actions of the contractor and tries to prevent conflicts
Ensures contractor works according to quality assurance, Program/procedures
Validates contractor’s erection procedures and methods
Keeps himself informed regarding any project design changes and their influence on the electrical erection.
Keeps the electrical engineer informed.
Skills:
Specialized in electrical /instrumentation engineering
Experienced in site work
Some knowledge regarding technical aspects of the cement industry
Skills in organizing and coordinating
Some knowledge regarding EXCEL, WORD, etc
Strong ability to work within a team
Good communication skills
Knowledge in English
Able to manage 30 or 40 people
10 years experience.

The site manager works within the organization with regard to all site aspects
Main Objectives:
Management of site team
Coordination of team activities
Coordinates, where requited, contractor’s site activities
Ensures that contractor carries out his work according to the contract
Ensures quality of work carried out
Ensures contractor remains within the schedule and contract cost
Concentrates his action exclusively on site and site related activities.
Duties:
Manages and coordinates site team activities efficiently so as to reach above described
objectives
Maintains a relation with the contractor so that interactions between owner’s site team and
contactor’s site teams faction smoothly.
Coordinates and stays informed regarding contractor’s site activities
Keeps himself informed on all safety aspects and cleanliness on site
Anticipates problems and actions of the contractor
Resolves conflicts
Heads internal Site Team meetings
Participates in meeting with the contractors site team
Keeps himself and his team informed with regards to arrival of equipment and interrelates with
Resident Engineer regarding this aspect
Keeps the Erection Manager informed
Skills:
Coordination and management skills
Good organizer and experienced as site manager
Good knowledge regarding technical aspects of the cement industry
Firm but diplomatic
Good knowledge regarding EXCEL, WORD, etc
Strong ability to work within a team
Good communication skills
Good knowledge in English language
Specialized in electrical, instrumentation engineering with 10 years experience
Able to manage 200 or 300 persons.
