Emporiki Bank was established in 1907 and today is one of the largest commercial Greek banks. In June 2000, Emporiki Bank entered into a strategic alliance agreement with the Crédit Agricole international banking group, which acquired 6.7% of the Emporiki’s share capital. Following the public offer made by Crédit Agricole in June 2006 for the acquisition of 100% of the shares held by Emporiki Bank, Crédit Agricole today holds 72% of the Bank’s share capital, with the remainder being held by more than 60,000 shareholders.
Emporiki Bank is active in the domestic and foreign capital and money markets, offering a comprehensive range of traditional and modern banking services and products that meet the savings, financing and investment needs of its customers. Emporiki Bank operates 376 branches in Greece and one branch in London, and also operates subsidiary banks in Germany and in Cyprus. Emporiki is also developing its activities in the Balkan countries, more specifically in Albania, Bulgaria and Romania, through its subsidiary banks.

Emporiki Bank - Romania S.A. has been operating since 1996 and is based in Bucharest, Romania. Emporiki Bank owns 98.48% of its share capital.
The subsidiary operates a network of 16 branches and one agency as follows: Bucharest: 8 branches, Iasi: 1 branch and 1 agency, Constanta: 1 branch, Timisoara: 1 branch, Galati: 1 branch, Brasov; 1 Branch, Arad:1 Branch, Pitesti: 1 Branch, Sibiu: 1 branch
Emporiki Bank - Romania operates as a full-scale commercial bank and provides a broad range of banking services, such as enterprise financing, housing loans, deposits, international operations, treasury management, consulting services, foreign exchange operations, issue of credit and debit cards and Internet banking.

As a member of the Emporiki Bank Group, Emporiki Bank - Romania S.A. aims to improve its position in the Romanian banking market by following a customer-centred approach and offering enhanced services to all its customers.
The human resources of Emporiki Bank - Romania S.A. consist of qualified staff with many years of professional experience in banking. The bank employs a total of 200 staff, and it intends to further expand its activities so that the total number of its branches is 50 by the end of 2008. |
| Cerinte: |
• University degree in one of the following preferred majors: Engineering (all disciplines), Computer Science / Mathematics / Statistics / Finance / Economics / Management;
• Experience in managing projects;
• Good knowledge of English;
• Very strong analytical skills and ability to understand cost evaluations;
• Abilities for problems solving and excellent communications skills;
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite is a plus.
RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:
• Within the Organization Division (in the HO), the Organization Department provides subject matter experts (including project managers) for the Bank' programs/projects, serves on ad-hoc teams, and performs a variety of special assignments.
Depending on the level within our department practice, responsibilities will include:
• Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements;
• Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities;
• Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope;
• Reviews deliverables prepared by the project team;
• Effectively applies our methodology and enforces project standards;
• Ensures project documents are complete and stored appropriately;
• Manages project budget.
