To research, specify, develop, test, maintain & support high performance internal and product related systems for Webfusion - GXN's webhosting business unit..
Your daily tasks will include:
Design, develop, maintain and support software as a member of the Webfusion Product Development Team.
Ensure software under development is managed with appropriate source code control and release processes.
Ensure software adheres to relevant coding standards and is documented using internal systems.
Interact with the product managers to gather requirements, deploy and when relevant support our systems.
Work with Hosting Operations when researching & designing new products as well as offering support to ensure relevant SLAs are met. |
| Cerinte: |
Required:
University degree or equivalent level education in Computing or a related discipline
Minimum 2 years experience developing applications using Microsoft toolset as a primary job role.
At least 3 years C# .net experience
Experience of creating "n" tier applications
Above average knowledge of MS SQL server including DB design, and use of stored procedures and triggers
All round web development skills; HTML/DHTML/CSS/JavaScript
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to manage competing deadlines and priorities.
experienced at working in a team environment.
Desirable:
Experience of creating multi threaded applications.
Exposure to service oriented architectures (SOA)
Exposure to UML / OO design
Basic sysadmin and networking skills |
