GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
-They interact with guests and are important in maintaining positive guest relations.
-Bellboys are responsible for carrying guests' luggage to their rooms. They may also be responsible for checking the room before the guest arrives.
-The bellhop may ensure that all amenities, such as the television or telephone, are operating properly. Any malfunctions are reported to maintenance to be repaired promptly before the guest arrives.
-When the guest checks out of the hotel, the bellboy may be summoned to carry the guest's luggage to the checkout area.
-The bellboy may initially work as an elevator operator in larger hotels. Larger hotels may also require that the bellboy have previous experience.
-Explaining to the customers the hotels rules, showing them how to use hotel facilities, room features such as TV, Radio, Bath tubs.
-Some bellboys run errands or pick up laundry.
-They may also assist at the front desk and place claim checks on luggage.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:
-May also be required to resolve complaints from guests who aren't satisfied with the service.
-In addition to their regular duties, bellboys may assist guests who are physically challenged by escorting them to their room.
-Occasionally park and retrieve guest’s vehicles.
-may assist with the cleaning of the Reception area and the lobby of the hotel
Reimbursements
- Net Salary 550 Euro
- Shared free Accommodation. Same gender.
- 3 free meals per day
- Part of the Social contribution.
- The possibility of Tickets reimbursement € 25 / 1 complete month of work (shall be discussed in the following weeks)

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
-At least one season (at least 6 months) previous experience in the same field and same position.
-Bellboys should have good communication skills, because they are required to communicate with guests.
-They should be reliable and prompt when required to retrieve a guest's luggage.
-In addition, the bellboy must be professional and have a pleasant personality.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Excellent knowledge of English language.
Any other language: Greek, Russian, German - will be considered an advantage.
EXTRA REQUIREMENTS
Applicant must be maximum 35, with good physical appearance and a recent photo (last 2 months).
Any certificates, diplomas, letters of recommendations - will be considered an advantage. |
