GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
-Read food order slips or receive verbal instructions as to food required by patron, and prepare and cook food according to instructions.
-Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes or personal judgment, using various kitchen utensils and equipment.
-Wash, cut, and prepare foods designated for cooking.
-Portion, arrange, and garnish food, and serve food to waiters or patrons.
-Cook the exact number of items ordered by each customer, working on several different orders simultaneously.
-Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
-Verify that prepared food meets requirements for quality and quantity.
-Clean, stock, and restock workstations and display cases.
-Inspect food preparation and serving areas to ensure observance of safe, sanitary food-handling practices.
-Turn or stir foods to ensure even cooking.
-Season and cook food according to recipes or personal judgment and experience.
-Observe and test foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently, using methods such as tasting, smelling, or piercing them with utensils.
-Substitute for or assist other cooks during emergencies or rush periods.
-Bake, roast, broil, and steam meats, fish, vegetables, and other foods.
-Wash, peel, cut, and seed fruits and vegetables to prepare them for consumption.
-Carve and trim meats such as beef, veal, ham, pork, and lamb for hot or cold service, or for sandwiches.
-Coordinate and supervise work of kitchen staff.
-Butcher and dress animals, fowl, or shellfish, or cut and bone meat prior to cooking.
-Bake breads, rolls, cakes, and pastries.
-Prepare relishes and hors d'oeuvres.
-Keep records and accounts.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:
-Assists in the daily cleanup of the kitchen and service areas.
-Performs major cleaning of refrigerators and storerooms at regularly scheduled intervals as designated by the head cook.
Reimbursements
- Net Salary 650 Euro (Assistant Chef, Cold Buffet, Chef)
- Net Salary 750 Euro (Chef)
- Shared free Accommodation. Same gender.
-3 free meals per day
-Part of the Social contribution
- The possibility of tickets reimbursement € 25 / 1 complete month of work (shall be
discussed in the following weeks)

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
At least two (2) season (at least 6 months / season) previous experience in the same field and same position.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Good verbal knowledge of English language.
Any other language: Greek, Italian, French, Russian, German - will be considered an advantage.
EXTRA REQUIREMENTS
Applicant must be maximum 45, with good physical appearance and a recent photo (last 2 months).
Must present certificates, diplomas, letters of recommendations, menus. |
