GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
Hotel chambermaids also may be referred to as: maids, housekeepers, room attendants and cleaners.
1.Linens
Each day, hotel chambermaids visit guest rooms to change linens. This involves stripping the beds, gathering any dirty towels, making the bed with fresh sheets and hanging unused towels on the racks in the bathroom.
2.Cleaning
In guest rooms, hotel chambermaids are required to vacuum / or use brooms, carpeting; mop marble or tile floors;
wash windows, television screens, mirrors and other glass; change light bulbs; clean sinks, toilets, showers and tubs; remove garbage; and dust surfaces.
3.Replenishing
Hotel chambermaids also replenish any supplies that guests may have used. These include complimentary items, such as coffee, tea, creamer, and toiletries, or fee-for-service items, such as those found in a minibar.
4.Reporting
Hotel chambermaids report any usage of fee-for-service items, as well as damage to the room or its contents and theft to supervisory staff so that the guest can be charged accordingly. In addition, hotel chambermaids ensure that all appliances, water and heating and cooling systems in guest rooms are functioning properly before new guests arrive.
5.Customer Service
Hotel chambermaids may perform various types of customer service for guests, such as delivering newspapers or extra pillows, linens and toiletries; providing turn-down service for beds; picking up laundry, dry cleaning or ironing; and shining shoes.
OTHER RESPONSABILITIES MAY INCLUDE:
1. Clean hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms and other work areas so that health standards are met.
2. Assist in cleaning the restaurant areas, bars, swimming pools of the hotel / resort.
3. Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies, using wheeled carts.
4. Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy.
5. Assist in the laundry department.
Reimbursements
- Net Salary 600 Euro
- Shared free Accommodation. Same gender.
- 3 free meals per day
- Part of the Social contribution.
- The possibility of Tickets reimbursement € 25 / 1 complete month of work (shall be discussed in the following weeks)

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
At least one season (at least 6 months) previous experience in the same field and same position.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Good verbal knowledge of English language.
Any other language: Greek, Russian, German, Italian, French - will be considered an advantage.
EXTRA REQUIREMENTS
Applicant must be maximum 45, with good physical appearance and a recent photo (last 2 months).
Any certificates, diplomas, letters of recommendations - will be considered an advantage. |
