Assignment:
Determine and create the product group assortment, develop and put into action merchandising concepts;
Managing the bakery range of products and the supplier database;
Ensure communication between Procurement and Merchandising team and stores, regarding bakery assortment; analyses and develops solutions to bakery product group problems;
Work closely with both Operations and Procurement and Merchandising Departments in order to identify appropriate merchandising and production solutions for bakery area;
Selecting suppliers, negotiating and optimising commercial conditions the agreements;
Analyze and monitor sales performance and other related indicators for bakery products and initiate measures to optimize bakery processes and increase sales.
Qualifications:University degree;
At least 3 years experience in the purchasing field;
Proven merchandising and bakery production experience, good knowledge of layout and planogram rules;
Good knowledge of Romanian retail market;
Very good communication and presentation skills;
Analytical and strategic competence;
Team player, experience in co-operation with various departments;
Computer literate (MS Office package), good knowledge of English language;
Market and customer orientation;
Problem-solving abilities.
