GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
- Washing of: linens (are washed and replaced every day in almost all hotels), towels, cloths, blankets, and sheets.
-Cleaning and folding and distributing throughout the day to the Housekeeping department of the hotel.
-Laundry attendants are responsible for keeping all of these linens in pristine condition.
-Extended-stay hotels and more upscale establishments may also offer laundry and dry cleaning services to their guests. Job duties can include cleaning napkins and tablecloths as well as dry cleaning and ironing.
-Beyond basic cleaning duties, laundry attendants need to coordinate with the rest of the hotel staff, especially the housekeeping department. Other responsibilities may consist of getting rid of stains and contacting management an item is too damaged to continue using.
-Laundry attendant are responsible in collecting and washing dirty clothes of customers and hotel beddings and cloths. They also do the ironing, folding and the distribution to its designated destination.
-Collect dirty clothes ad beddings used by guests and prepare for washing.
-Separate the colored from white ones. Put marks or place in each containers according to owners to avoid misplacements.
-Wash the dirty clothes in washing machines.
-Dry the washed clothes before transferring to the ironing area.
-Iron and fold dried clothes and deploy to the designated rooms or areas.
-Assist customers with their laundry problem such as stains and faded colors.
-Maintain the cleanliness of the laundry area.
Reimbursements
- Net Salary 550 Euro

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
At least one season (at least 6 months) previous experience in the same field and same position.
Previous experience with professional laundry machineries - would be considered an advantage.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Good verbal knowledge of English language.
Any other language: Greek, Italian, French, Russian, German - will be considered an advantage.
EXTRA REQUIREMENTS
Applicant must be maximum 40, with good physical appearance and a recent photo (last 2 months).
Any certificates, diplomas, letters of recommendations - will be considered an advantage. |
